Suicide bombing is not from Islam and contradicts the teachings

Why suicide bombing is not Islamic

Recently we heard about a suicide bomber in Kabul who killed many innocent people.

Previously we heard about suicide bombings in Palestine and other places.

For these reasons it is rather sad, not only to hear of innocent people being killed or maimed, but also that Islam is being blamed for such killings.

Islam is a religion that teaches people to have dialogue and to solve issues through other means before resorting to fighting.

When Islam first came about blood shed was greatly reduced and the killing of innocent people was forbidden.

It is so unfortunate that we hear many instances of deaths and atrocities caused by so-called suicide bombings.

What is more unfortunate is when these bombings are carried out by Muslims.

We are then told that  this is "Islamic terrorism."

However, Islam does not have or support terrorism.

Suicide bombing itself is something new and has no basis in Islam.

It was actually from the Sumarai Japanese who felt that it was a shame to live.  They either died fighting or killed themselves in the end.

In Islam life is life.  It is not allowed to take ones own life or someone elses.

Any capital punishment must only go through the court and must have witnesses, evidence and so forth.  The certain cases are rare.

Killing women and children is never allowed.  Or old people, or those who don't want to be involved.

If someone has carried out suicide bombing it is not Islamic.

They may not enter paradise as well.

It probably happened due to ignorance and people believing it is the way to help their cause, but it is not.

Therefore, as Muslims we cannot accept suicide bombings.  Neither the killing of innocent people.

We are asked to speak good and do good to all people, not to harm or take lives.

If we could help people to understand the true understanding of Islam, we would not have to explain such things.

Christmas and the difference between the Christian and Muslim belief in Jesus and Mary peace be upon them

What do Muslims say about Jesus? Today is the day many Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus peace be upon him. Although we are taught in school that this was a mistake and it is not the actual day if his birth, it has become so widely recognised as the actual day that it is still celebrated as such. Jesus is a great Prophet of Islam, and there are five Prophets said to be greatest because they went through the most difficulties and achieved the most. These five Prophets peace be upon them are Nuh, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and of course Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Muslims hold Jesus to be a Prophet like other prophets and was a human being and a man. Some Christians believe Jesus to be the literal son of God or even God himself. The Quran refutes this saying that how could he have a son when he has not taken a wife? Muslims are forbidden from calling a Prophet of anyone the son of God as it is considered blaspheme and as if making partners to God. In the beginning it seems...

Stress: Islamic advice to deal with it

Stress has been defined as feelings of tension due to psychological, emotional or physical factors. Most people, particularly in the modern world experience some degree of stress. We feel stressed from our jobs, from dealing with difficult people and customers and having to meet deadlines, at school or university. Anything that makes us feel tension can be a source of stress. We can feel stressed in our relationships at times. Maybe we don't feel understood or we have unmet needs. Distress is a negative type of stress, and describes the state of someone experiencing tension. We tend to feel stressed when we feel we are not in control of a situation. The less control we feel the more stressed we feel. New events, even positive, such as moving house, getting married, having a child or starting or leaving a job can all make us feel stressed. Unemployment, lack of provisions and being in unsuitable jobs or relationships can all make us feel stressed. When we feel unde...

Beauty: inner and outer beauty in Islam and how to be a beautiful person

A beautiful person: according to Islam Currently, throughout the world, beauty has most often been understood as a physical attribute. Beauty is most often held to be something that pleases us to look at aesthetically. People regard artwork, sunsets, scenery and even some people as beautiful because they are pleasing to look at. Some of the things – or people – that are considered beautiful may not be held to be beautiful by everyone. Therefore, oftentimes beauty is subjective. However, there are things and even people who may be considered objectively beautiful and regarded by most as such. It is now fashionable to think that beauty can be created by adding make up.  However, things cannot be added that were not there in the first place. Make-up may at times accentuate beauty, or it may cover it or over do it.   Sometimes too much makeup actually hides a persons true beauty and can make them look like a clown. Physical appearance is important because it may be the ...
